Story

Dementia is a severe loss of general mental ability (memory loss). It can be static, as a result of a single general brain injury, or progressive, resulting in long-term cognitive decline due to damage or disease of the body.
The most common early signs of dementia are:
a) changes in behavior: apathy, isolation, reduction of activities, self-neglect and
b) memory disorder: difficulty remembering recent events.

Your mother is a person who showed the first symptoms of dementia. Following the prompting of the doctor who took care of her, you take her to the particular nursing home that is reputed to be one of the best in the area. After a few weeks you receive a telegram from Warrenton that your mother has taken a turn for the worse and to contact the nursing home office to arrange a site visit. You call and after a strange conversation with the manager you arrange your visit.

Will your beloved mother remember you or will dementia take her over completely? You have no idea what you will encounter when you arrive.
