The luxurious conservatory "Das Musikhaus" of the famous Austrian Maestro Franz Gruber, in the centre of Vienna, was known for training top musicians. Only students with a natural talent for music were admitted to study...

Gruber was a master in the field of music, strict and authoritarian, conducting the greatest orchestras of the time while also teaching at the Conservatory...

However, behind the imposing blackboards, the huge pentagrams and the beautiful melodies there was another dark face of Gruber, a face that was cruel and violent...

The music of the Conservatory fell silent forever after that night in April 1945...

The Soviet troops were camped in the Austrian capital and now the whole city was in total confusion...

The bombing that followed in the following days razed the whole of Vienna and the Conservatory with it...

Tonight, the historic Conservatory reopens its doors, but this time as a museum. Within the Museum, the whole story of the famous Maestro's life is reflected in great detail.

Unfortunately, your flight to Vienna is long delayed and you miss the magical opening night of the Museum as you manage to arrive just before midnight.
